Fantastic Airbnb With a Piano in Maribor, Slovenia

After spending 4 nights in a not-so-good apartment in Ljubljana, it was great to move into a fantastic apartment in Maribor.

After staying in almost 20 apartments over the last 4 months, this was the first one we’ve stayed at that had a piano. Unfortunately, neither my wife nor I can play the piano. If you can, this might be a great choice for you.

The Living Room

As soon as we walked in the front door, we knew that we’d loving staying at this apartment. It’s our kind of apartment – minimalist, yet stylish.

The sofa can open out into a double bed, so would be useful for a small family.

The room at aircon that worked well – it was a little chilly the first evening we were there.

We were very surprised to have a piano in the apartment. After staying in over 100 apartments, it was a first.

The Kitchen

The kitchen was open plan and included a dining table and 4 stools. The kitchen had full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave, as well as being well-equipped with everything that we needed.

The Bedroom

The bedroom was pretty big with windows facing to the street. The apartment is raised from the ground floor so feels very private. The windows have shutters so you can get a peaceful night’s sleep in a dark room.

Having a piano was the first surprise. The second one was having a dedicated workspace that include a desk, office chair and computer.

Bathroom

The bathroom was beautiful. A lot of work has gone into making this apartment very comfortable. This is the type of place I could live full-time.

Washing Machine

There was a cupboard next to the bathroom that had a washing machine – very useful when traveling long-term.

Wifi

The wifi at the apartment was fast and worked well the whole time we were there.

The Location

The apartment was great and the location was also great. The apartment is only around 400 meters from the train station, so it’s an easy walk. It’s also a similar distance to the old town. It was a perfect place for us to stay.
