Boskovic Apartment, Kotor Old Town Review

After arriving in Kotor by bus from Dubrovnik, we initially stayed at a great 1-bed apartment in Kotor Old Town. We wanted to stay longer, but the apartment had already been booked by other guests.

As it was Easter, it was difficult to find another apartment that was available at a reasonable price. However, we found out that the owner had another apartment that was available, so we booked that for another 7 nights.

Kitchen

This apartment is only 30 sqm, so is quite small. It also has a slightly weird layout. Above is what might be considered the kitchen, but could also be used as a living room.

It has everything you need for a few days’ stay. It’s ideal for a single person or a couple.

Bedroom/Living Room

This is where things get a little weird. The room above is obviously the bedroom, with a window that looks out onto a beautiful and lively square. But it also appears to be a living room.

I guess it’s a bit like a studio apartment but with two rooms instead of one. It’s certainly an improvement on most hotels rooms though.

We also had a vistitor to our apaprtment. He think he lived nearby. He was very friendly.

Bathroom

The bathroom is small but functionable. It also has a washing machine, which is located to the left of the image above.

The Location

Above you can see the view from the bedroom/living room. The square is quite lively during the daytime, but very quiet at night. That café with the red chairs is where we had coffee most mornings. There are also two great restaurants on the square.

When we stayed, there were always 4 or 5 friendly cats that hung around the square.

Wifi

The wifi worked the whole time we stayed at the apartment, but the speed was a little disappointed. It took hours to upload photos that would usually take minutes.

I’d say the apartment is good value for money though for Kotor Old Town.

Where to stay in Kotor

We stayed at Old Town Square Kotor Apartment for our first three nights and then moved here for the next three nights. They have the same owner. We wanted to stay at the first apartment but it had already been booked by someone else.
